Who We Are

Founding Stars Initiative (FSI) is a Community Based Organisation (CBO) registered in Kenya, built by a passionate group of young people who believe in the transformative power of mentorship and education.

We are more than an organisation — we are a family. Our members voluntarily give their time, resources, and energy to visit schools, run community programs, and create spaces where young people can dream bigger.

We mentor young people academically and socially, while rallying essentials such as sanitary towels, stationery, and playing equipment to support them holistically in their growth and development.

Our Mission

To empower youth across Kenya through education, mentorship, and community-driven programs that nurture their full potential and inspire them to lead.

Our Vision

A Kenya where every young person, regardless of background, has access to guidance, resources, and a community that believes in their ability to shine.

How We Grew

18 March
2023

FSI Is Born

A group of young people from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa law school — who had formed a study group — decided to use their free time to give back to the community through mentorship and youth outreach. On 18th March 2023, they visited Pumwani Primary School as their first mentorship project, and so FSI was born.
